What it is like to work with me. On this page I’ll share with you the results that clients have enjoyed and I’ll also give you a sense of my guiding beliefs, philosophy and approach in working with clients.

GUIDING BELIEFS & VALUES
Reaching your goals doesn’t need to take forever. Self Sabotage and limiting beliefs are keeping you from reaching your goals. I believe that having the right tools and support coupled with the commitment to yourself allows you to keep moving forward.
You will have FUN. Making life changes is actually FUN. I believe and see proof time and time again that results occur by making small consistent changes one at a time, our life becomes easier, joyful and more fulfilling.
We are all Individuals. I believe in bio-individuality; One person’s food is another’s poison. Each person is different and must be personally nurtured according to their unique body’s needs. Maybe you heard about a specific diet your friend had success with and when you tried it you felt bloated and sick? Your body knows what it needs and your mind makes the mistakes.
A Holistic approach to health and wellness is the key. Look at all areas of your life and how they are connected. Does stress at work or in your relationship cause you to overeat? Does lack of sleep or low energy prevent you from exercising? We look at how all these parts of your life affect your health as a whole.
Human Nourishment is paramount. The food we eat is secondary to the most important factors in our lives. Healthy relationships, a fulfilling career, regular physical exercise and a spiritual practice are essential forms of nourishment. When these “primary foods” are balanced, what we eat becomes secondary.
Clean up your food environment. You feel better than you have in years, and you glow from the inside out. Why force yourself to pick one way of eating where there are so many nutrient –rich foods available? You will enjoy all kinds of foods and no foods will be off limits.
If you are ready to finally let go of the “Diet Mentality” and move fully into living a healthy lifestyle, you have come to the right place. I have gathered tools and techniques that are powerful and effective in helping you shift quickly, so you can get on track with the life you are meant to be living. During the first session we will review your health history and discuss your goals and dreams for your future self. In this session I will get a sense of which tools will be most beneficial for you and how they will be most effective for your specific goals. We will clearly outline your goals and be able to monitor your progress as we work together.
As a pioneer in the health and nutrition coaching field, I believe that reaching your goals does not need to take forever. I believe that the process of learning to live healthy is actually fun and exciting. Every step on your journey leads you to another exciting part of your adventure. Your body was designed to eat, move and breathe in your own unique and specific way and when you’re body is in a constant state of alignment with these qualities your body will automatically normalize to its natural state.
I use a Holistic approach which to me means, Human Nourishment, the beautiful balance of nourishing the mind, body and soul from the inside out. This is instrumental in accessing the most joyful and healthful version of ourselves. Human nourishment is highly individual, and I believe in Bio-Individuality. One person’s food is another person’s poison. All of those cookie cutter diets out there don’t work because we are all individually unique and what might work for me, might not work for you. To Nourish your whole self, you must mindfully turn inward (that can be a scary place) in order to understand the messages your body is sending you. Understanding what nourishes and truly feeds us involves so much more than what is on your plate and is a game changer for everyone. The foods we eat are actually secondary to all the other elements that feed us such as career, physical activity, relationships, and spirituality. Any form of emotional pain in any of these areas leave you feeling weaker and run down more than any food ever will. We thrive on connection, personal growth and other life achievements as our primary source of energy and enrichment. Surrounding ourselves with people that light you up, feeling passionate about your career, creating a consistent spiritual practice (whatever that means for you) and moving your body are what properly nurtures these important areas of our lives. This gives us the confidence to put the time and energy to live concurrently with our actual food choices which will further improve our health. Ridding our minds of the dreaded “Diet Mentality” and putting our Primary and Secondary foods in balance is what a truly holistic approach is all about.
