So many live a large portion of life never questioning what we’ve been taught. We go along with the masses, a brainwashed mentality, unaware of what other realities are possible for our lives. Escaping this and reclaiming our own individuality and lifestyle is extremely challenging and rewarding. AND, when you start to wake up and look around, you will find find many other intelligent people on the same path. We are completely surrounded and enveloped by it. It’s the accepted beliefs and false concepts about the world that drain our life force. It’s a kind of mental, emotional and spiritual programming. It’s more than corporate agenda; it’s from the government, the church, big business. It’s the persistence that we all should get married, stay married, have children, get a good job, and buy things. You can feel it at work, at church and even at the grocery store.
Being brainwashed creates your collective beliefs about food, fashion and most aspects of your life. It’s the constant drumming into your head that makes you produce, process, sell and buy. It’s the voice in your head that tells you not to rock the boat, not to take risks. It’s the treadmill you feel you are running on and can’t get off and never move forward. Being brainwashed is what is familiar and comfortable to you, yet it actually steals your happiness, your authenticity, your joy and your future. It dictates to you the rules about food, your health, your relationships, your spirituality and how you should live.
Think about it. It’s thin women who are young forever, strong men who are wealthy and powerful. There’s an infinite amount of things to buy, to play with, to wear and consume. Being brainwashed pushes fast food, mass-produced junk, caffeine, sugar, white flour, meat, alcohol and medications to temporarily numb us from our feelings. You’re just running on stress, in survival mode, and it always tells you that you’re not good enough and you need more. Being brainwashed always says you never look good enough, it insists that you are really alone in the world. It tells you not to trust others and hypnotizes you into forgetting your true essence and greatness. Millions of dollars are spent everyday to persuade you to do things and to buy things that you would not normally buy.
Why do you allow clothing companies to brand you? Taking away your individuality just to cover yourself with someone’s logo on sneakers, hats, pants, shirts, purses and jackets. Keeping up with the Jones’ to make you feel worthy and respected. How do you escape all of this? You have to muster up enough courage to walk away from caring about needing to look, dress and eat a certain way to fit in. Look inside and ask yourself, “Who am I, and what do I really want from my life?” What will make you feel free? Have you become another brainwashed robot that works your butt off all day and then sits in front of the TV with your phone until it’s time for bed? Stuff your mouth with processed food until your pants burst and your body actually deteriorates? To chase after the latest product that is supposed to make you feel complete?
Isn’t there something more to life? What are you going to do about it?
